About Me

Meet the Heart of Cacao Sol
At the heart of Cacao Sol is Lubo — a lifelong lover of cacao, a student of plant medicine, and a passionate bridge between ancient wisdom and modern healing.
Lubo’s journey with cacao began in childhood, where warm cups of hot chocolate prepared by his mother were a daily ritual of love and comfort. But it wasn’t until years later, after battling a deep period of emotional disconnection and depression following dengue fever, that cacao revealed its true power to him. In the mountains of Guatemala, surrounded by the guardians of this sacred plant, Lubo experienced firsthand how cacao could soften walls around the heart, regulate the nervous system, and guide him gently back to his true self.
Driven by reverence, he immersed himself in the full process of cacao creation — from harvesting ripe pods by hand, fermenting and drying beans under the Guatemalan sun, to roasting, peeling, and lovingly crafting ceremonial-grade cacao wheels. Every step of this journey deepened his connection to the plant, to the Earth, and to his own heart.
Today, through Cacao Sol, Lubo shares more than just cacao. He shares the spirit, tradition, and love infused into every block. His mission is to offer a bridge — from the hands of the Guatemalan farmers to the hearts of those who seek reconnection, healing, and presence.
When you sip Cacao Sol cacao, you’re not just enjoying a drink.
You’re being held by centuries of tradition, by communities rooted in reverence, and by the living wisdom of a plant that has quietly guided countless souls back home to themselves.
From their hands to his.
From his heart to yours.
We are one. 🤎
